PROWL is a jungle-themed cocktail bar at 1323 S Commerce St. We’re open seven nights a week, we take walk-ins, and we pour handcrafted cocktails in a room built around the jungle. We’re a short rideshare from Fremont Street Experience, in the part of Downtown that’s becoming a cocktail destination.

What the Arts District Offers
The Arts District is the creative side of Downtown Las Vegas, also called 18b. It began with galleries and artists’ studios in the late 1990s, and it now has breweries, vintage shops, and a growing set of cocktail bars and eateries. Much of the area is walkable, so you can plan a night that moves from one stop to the next on foot.
A Jungle Room In The Arts District
PROWL is built around the jungle. Vines hang overhead, the booths have mosquito netting, and a black panther will captivate you as it watches the room from the screens behind the bar. A moss-covered lava rock wall and a carved Olmec face set the mood. The bar top is made of avocado stone. The room seats just under 50 guests.
The restrooms carry their own themes too. One has an overhead butterfly display. The other has fiber optic fireflies on the ceiling.

Cocktails And The Menu
Our cocktails are handcrafted with housemade syrups, fresh fruit, and bold spirits. The menu changes with the seasons, so see the current menu before you visit, or read about the jungle cocktail program.
Two drinks exemplify the broad range of cocktail options available. The Tropical Howler lets you pick the base spirit, and it’s built on housemade ginger beer with hibiscus and kaffir lime leaf. The Monstera Mash is a pisco drink with sugar snap peas, elderflower, cardamom, and egg white. If you want something simpler, the $10 Pisco Punch is available every day.

Chris “Tater” Gutierrez is general manager and cocktail creator at PROWL. He has more than 20 years of experience in Downtown Las Vegas hospitality.
